Purple Shoots Craftathon - 26th November 2022
Purple Shoots will be running their first Craftathon on 26th November 2022. Activities will be taking place across many locations, including in supermarkets, the middle of Cardiff's Christmas market, and at our very own shop in Pontypridd. There will be plenty of opportunity to take part, or simply just support these activities. You may even end up with a craft of your own!
During the day, we hope to get as many of our Self Reliant Groups, supporters, staff and passers-by to take part in creating a craft, or just appreciating the wonderful products our crafters are creating. There will be crafts for adults and children alike, and some of our crafters will be making some special pieces to sell on, with all profits going towards to Purple Shoots - we can't wait to see what beautiful and innovative creations are created!
Purple Shoots is passionate about supporting new businesses, and all the money raised will be going straight back into this work. Every penny raised can make a real difference to the life of someone who needs the belief and support that they may struggle to find elsewhere. Members of our Self Reliant Groups will tell you how much they value the opportunity to be part of a supportive and relational community, which they may not have found without Purple Shoots.
