I'm running in Cow vs Pig for Freightliners Farm!

I'll be joining the herd and running as a cow in the annual Cow vs Pig race through the streets of Islington on Sunday 29 April to raise money for Freightliners City Farm. Please sponsor me! Freightliners Farm is an oasis in the urban jungle. We provide a green space for 40,000 visitors a year, farm experiences for schoolchildren, volunteering opportunities for young people, and help with isolation and mental health issues. We have help from organisations such as Islington Council and the Cripplegate Foundation. But sustained funding pressures mean Freightliners Farm is facing a shortfall in income. We need a minimum of £30K just to keep going over the next year – feeding and caring for the animals, opening 6 days a week, and maintaining the buildings and gardens. We aim to do more too, expanding our projects to support more young volunteers, provide more events for elderly people, and help to tackle loneliness and isolation in Islington.
