Skydive for Young Carers

I'm a sixteen year old looking after my Mum, who faces many daily challenges due to my Mum having back issues. As a young carer I support her with things other people my age may not even have to think about, such as her personal care and going shopping on my own. I also spend a lot of time talking to her and comforting her. I support her physically and emotionally. I do find it hard being a young carer but it helps when Be Free Young Carers ( formally known as South and Vale Young Carers) take me out on trips, I get to meet new friends as I don't have the time to when I look after my Mum. As Be Free Young Carers have taken me out on trips, I feel that I should give back to them by fundraising so then they can help other young carers in my situation. I have decided to do a skydive because it is something my Mum and I have always wanted to do but sadly she is unable to because of her back. I hope by doing this skydive I will raise awareness for Young Carers everywhere, so then they don't have to be alone on there journey. I have already started collecting donations at my school and I have managed to raise over £400 at Langtree School and I aim to get £1000 or even above through online donations.
