Saff Takes on the Bath Half for SARSAS

Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support (SARSAS) are a WONDERFUL charity, supporting women and teenagers throughout Somerset heal and recover from sexual violence. 

I have the absolute joy of coordinating Somerset's largest sexual violence charity - Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support (SARSAS). We deliver 100 counselling slots a week to women and teenagers who have survived sexual abuse/rape. COVID19 has impacted our service (funding etc) like so many other charities. 

I love this gorgeous charity enough to torture myself with the Bath Half Marathon (YELP!!). Please, if you can, drop me a donation to keep my motivation high during training. If not for me, for the survivors that we get the privilege of supporting each week.

We try really hard to make a difference in the lives of women across Somerset. As a survivor myself I can't tell you how important and absolutely necessary being given the opportunity for cost-free counselling from trauma informed specialists is. It's life changing!
