London 2 Paris - Scott McEvoy - fund raising page

Welcome to my fundraising page. In October 2015 I had surgery on my right hip. It knocked me back but I wanted to come back and do something a little more challenging than what I had attempted previously. Being someone that loves cycling and raising money charity, so I made the decision to undertake The London to Paris cycle. With that I got in touch with companies that organised such events. I wanted to choose the organisation that gave my chosen charity most of the money I had raised. The best one I could find said I had to raise £1500 and £750 of that would pay for the trip and the other £750 would then go to my chosen charity. So they would only get half the money raised? I was not happy and thought there had to be a way more of the funds raised went to the charity! There was, I would do it on my own. After much perseverance I have managed to organise the entire three day trip from accommodation to getting home! The costs of the trip is to be funded by myself which i have paid out only £250.00 which means im saving £500 from doing it with an organisation. Most of my equiptment has been paid from the companies sponsoring me being The Grill Steakhouse, Carmicharl UK, Superprint and JPB electrical. The next part is to get as many sponsors as possible to raise money for my chosen charity which is where you all come! The charity I am supporting is The New Leaf Project.
