I will be Sleeping Out on the night of 15th November at the Eden Project to raise funds for St Petroc's Society. On a cold or wild and wet Cornish night I always think of how lucky I am to be indoors, warm and safe - and I always think of those who are not so lucky. "Our mission is to provide accommodation, support, advice, training and resettlement services to single homeless people in Cornwall. The single homeless are those who, more often than not, fall outside the responsibility of statutory authorities. Very often they are sleeping rough and may have a range of difficulties including drug or alcohol dependency, mental ill health, relationship problems or an offending lifestyle, which contribute to their homelessness and social exclusion. St Petroc's provides a diverse range of services with the aim of ensuring that each and every homeless individual is given the opportunity and support to rebuild their lives."

About Eden Project Sleep Out 2018
I am raising funds for St Petroc's Society who work with single homeless people throughout Cornwall by sleeping out at the Eden Project. We’ll be one of a number of locations hosting a Sleep Out throughout the UK this November 15th. Last year saw a record-breaking Sleep Out, with more than 3,000 supporters sleeping out in 17 locations across the country and raising more than £1.2 million. Let’s make this year an even better success. Sleep Out is a nationwide event organised by the End Youth Homelessness (EYH), a national collaboration of grassroots charities and companies that provide vital support to homeless young people across the UK. The EYH are continually working to raise crucial funds for as many of the 86,000 young people who experience homelessness every year.
