In partnership with Slough Refugee Support, we are fundraising to provide food parcels for refugee families in our community. Many of these families have fled war and persecution, arriving in the UK with very little. The UN reports that over 100 million people worldwide are currently displaced, and in the UK many refugees struggle to cover even the most basic cost of living.

To help, at the end of September we are delivering pre-packaged food boxes filled with staple groceries. Each box costs just £55 and will support a family of 4–5 people for an entire month. Every penny raised goes directly towards the food parcels – nothing else.

Each box contains essential items such as:

• Atta (flour)

• Rice & pasta

• Cooking oil & sugar

• Tinned beans & tomatoes

• Potatoes & onions

These simple but vital items allow families to cook meals, feed their children and find a sense of stability in difficult times.

Our goal is to provide at least 30 families with boxes in the first distribution – a total of £1,650.

£55 = 1 family supported for a month.
