STAGES night of mental health awareness

A group of STAGES members are participating in this evening of mental health awareness to help raise funds for our charity so that we can continue our work. We plan to organise events for the rest of the year to raise enough funds to pay for a professional fundraiser so that we can focus on the main work of our charity. Delivering Holistic therapies Reiki, Ayurvedic Head Massage, Foot Massage, Crystal Healing, Mindfulness, Art therapy and Music therapy. We never charge our service users a penny for any of our services and we always also give FREE refreshments so that no-one feels that they cannot attend because they cannot afford too. If people can't buy a weekly raffle ticket we always make sure that everyone gets to win something one way or another. This evening will be difficult for most of our service users, who suffer from anxiety (which is only one of the symptoms of their illness), our service users participating in this event suffer from numerous conditions including OCD, Bipolar disorder, Depression, Social anxiety, EUPD, PTSD, Eating disorders, CPTSD as well as Chronic pain conditions including Osteo-arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia. With this in mind, the sleepover is optional and only those comfortable enough to stay out overnight, will be doing so. We plan the evening to be productive gathering our ideas for fundraisers etc but we will also be participating in reiki, art therapy, music therapy and ayurvedic head massage - we plan on sharing the evening with occasional live videos from the evening onto our facebook community page. Please support this event and help us to help more people suffering with mental health and families coping with someone in the household who suffers. We need a building of our own because we are rapidly outgrowing renting a room from other groups and also welcome any ideas from members of the public. We also welcome any offers of a building that may be available for us to use as a permanent base.
