Support the Redway School

Our team Becky, Ali, Ash, Lucy and Tina are taking part in Buckingham's Sprint MarathonTriathlon. This is the first time we have all entered in an event of this type and although a bit nervous, are really looking forward to this challenge. We are doing the triathlon to help support Tina's daughter Megan's school, the Redway School in Milton Keynes. The Redway School helps the families of children with unique and individual complex needs by creating a supportive and nurturing environment and allowing them to develop at their own pace. The teachers and their specialist assistants work closely with the children tailoring their curricula to make it as fun and accessible as possible while all the time helping them to achieve their potential. The school also provides access to specialists and therapies on campus, eliminating the need for multiple trips to the hospital or clinics for them. Megan has been at the Redway School for 3 years now and in that time we have seen vast improvements in every aspect of her life and she has loved being there for every minute of that time. She has grown in confidence, communicates so much more clearly and has become much more aware of her surroundings and is very happy to explore them. These few examples are only scratching the surface of the many ways the school has helped to bring Megan's personality out. For everything they have done for us and continue to do for every family that has children at Redway, we would like to thank them by helping them to provide all the support and services that make such a difference to the children and to the parents.
