2017 Brighton Marathon - Team Hillside Fundraiser

POST MARATHON UPDATE: RACHEL AND FRANCESCA COMPLETED THE MARATHON IN GREAT TIMES DESPITE THE SCORCHING SUN. THEY HAVE BEEN OVERWHELMED BY THE GENEROUS SPONSORSHIP RECEIVED VIA THIS FUNDRAISING PAGE AND THE AMAZING SUPPORT OF THE CROWDS ON THE DAY. IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO, PLEASE HELP THEM WIN UP TO AN EXTRA £1,000 FOR THE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN BY MAKING A SMALL DONATION OF £2. Hillside is a small friendly community special school in Portslade for 78 pupils aged between 4 and 16 all of whom have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties. Some of the children have additional medical or physical difficulties or Autistic Spectrum Condition. Two members of staff at Hillside, Rachel (Headteacher) and Francesca (Receptionist), will be running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 9th April. Thanks to the fantastic support the campaign has received to date, they are now hoping to raise £2000 to buy even more exciting new equipment for the Secondary playground for the benefit of all Hillside pupils.
