The Fair Frome Tribe Live Music Campaign
The Fair Frome Tribe is an eclectic mix of musicians who perform rock, blues, soul, americana and other original " stuff" in various locat venues including pubs, clubs, hotels, private parties - and outside during summer/festival time. This will be the third iteration of the Tribe concept. In 2019 I started the We Don't Scare Easy Tribe to support the Bone Cancer Research Trust nationally and then Fair Frome locally. Last year I switched to the We Hear You (WHY) charity to focus again on a local good cause and The WHY Tribe was formed. The £7000 in 7 months WHY campaign ends successfully on 17 September with well over £8000 donated. Allowing 2 weeks off for bad behaviour anf to give me time to fix our first FF Tribe gig the new campaign will aim to raise £10000 in 12 months- we do like a challenge, or stretch target in business jargon. Me and my musical mates give our services free because we love playing live music and we also get s buzz out of raising money for good causes. We"re certainly not saints but not entirely sinners either. If you come to our Tribe gigs don't expect a stage managed concert: you'll get a house party with quality, contemporary music in venues that encourage everyone to join in and enjoy the Tribe vibe - including you if you want to sing or play a favourite song. All we ask in teturn is a voluntary donation from the venue and its customers in return for 3 hours of very decent, quality live music- what we call a fair deal for FAIR FROME
