I've always wanted to jump off a building. There are a fair number of people in the world who also want to see me jump off a building, and while you may be disappointed that I'll be hanging from a rope while I do it, I'm counting on your involvement to make it happen.
I'll be one of a hundred people abseiling from the top of the Bucks County Council building in Aylesbury, fourteen stories of brutalist concrete architecture put to good use for the Bucks Youth Bank, a charity that funds young people aged 13-19 doing things like art, music, dance, community involvement and volunteering. It goes like this: you help me raise AT LEAST £150 for them, I make my way down a 200ft sheer drop and wave at you while I'm doing it. The abseil is on the 7th of September and I need to raise the cash by then, so make it snappy!
On this rare occasion, when I'm actually raising money for the good of the community, I'd really appreciate your support, so please be generous, or at least curious enough to see what happens when I actually get up there. Of course, if you turn up to watch me screaming as I go down, all the better.
