The Manchester Marathon?

As a true Urmstonian I wanted to support a  local cause, and with this is mind i discovered the Rif Raf society. 

I am no great runner but have completed a couple of 10k's over the years and so stepping up my game to complete a Marathon seemed the fitting thing to do. It is  MORE. This is a test, a sacrafice.

When I heard about The RIFF RAFF GIRL POWER Manc Marathon Team I found the whole vibe very empowering. A team composed mainly of very busy mums all joining together to raise money to send another local mum and her kids to Lapland this Christmas.

The mum in question Hayley Saunders lost her young partner Rob to a heart attack before being diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer herself.

This mega 26 mile mission is a act of love and it is a great pleasure to be part of the team.
