This year, I’m taking on the challenge of a lifetime—climbing Mount Kilimanjaro completely on my own—to raise awareness and vital funds for Men’s Minds Matter, a charity committed to preventing male suicide and supporting men’s mental health.
This isn’t just a hike—it’s a personal mission. As someone who’s witnessed the silent struggles too many men face, I want to use this journey to shine a light on the importance of speaking up, reaching out, and standing together. Climbing Kilimanjaro solo is symbolic of the mountain so many men silently climb every day with the weight of stigma, shame, or silence on their backs.
My goal is to raise as much money possible to support Men’s Minds Matter in expanding their life-saving work. This includes providing vital crisis interventions, creating public resources, and training professionals to better support men in emotional distress. Every donation brings us closer to a world where no man feels like he’s alone at the edge.
This fundraiser is about more than the money—it’s about creating conversations, inspiring vulnerability, and reminding people that strength doesn’t mean silence. The impact of your support will ripple far beyond the summit. Together, we can help rewrite the story around men’s mental health.
By backing this cause, you’re not just helping me climb a mountain—you’re helping countless men find a way through their darkest moments.
Join me. Share this. Donate if you can. Let’s prove that no one ever has to hike their mountain alone.
While working with We Are Security in the construction industry which is predominantly a male working environment I've seen how how hard hats hide pain-long hours, silence, stress, stigma, strain. Mental health down where support is scarce and pressure builds.

I’ll be climbing Africa’s highest peak alone—not for the thrill, but to shine a light on something far bigger. Too many men are silently fighting battles they feel they can’t share. This solo journey is a symbol of that silent struggle—of the emotional mountains so many face without support.
