Resolve, free to access drug/alcohol help/support service for people who want to change their lives.

Resolve provides therapeutic treatment & support services for people suffering problems associated with alcohol, substance and prescription medication misuse. Resolve supports the families of people suffering by giving support and advice on issues affecting those suffering the problems associated with alcohol/substance misuse. And through Resolve's ReStart Homeless Project we also seek to tackle and prevent homelessness, in particular street homelessness.

People seeking help to them self choose to come to Resolve seeking help to change their lives positively, forever.

Why the community needs us Resolve has services in based in the communities in which we work - Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield & Letchworth where our North Herts Service is based. These areas represent areas of high levels of poverty, homelessness, deprivation and alcohol/substance misuse issues across all areas of our society.

We work with people to support those who most need help when they are often least able to access it. Our services are all provided free to access and we work with many other agencies: GPs, Social Services & mental health to support each person individually in a way that is best for them and their treatment.

Our impact on the community Resolve is a recovery based structured drug & alcohol day service provider with a specialism in homelessness supporting people who are street homeless, sleeping rough or at immediate risk of homelessness through our ReStart Homeless Services.

Through our work we work with people to regain control of their lives, stabilise their issues and move towards a place where they can live health, happy and independent lives, contributing to the communities in which they live.

Volunteers needed

Resolve is a community drug alcohol day service based in Welwyn Garden City, Herts. We are looking for people to work within our team delivering a range of services needed by people in the Welwyn and Hatfield areas.
