Charity Fight Nation 7 - John McMurray-Williams

I fancied taking on a massive challenge and for this one I've well and truly put my self outside of my comfort zone. I'm a keen supporter of good causes and have raised money for various charities over the last few years.

Obviously this is a personal challenge for me but the charity we're supporting raises money for mental health so the cause is fantastic and massively worthwhile.

Mental health is something that hadn't been addressed for too long, due to the stigma, mainly among men. If I can help to raise the awareness for this crucial subject, then I'll be pleased to have done my bit.

Over the last year or so, I've let myself go physically and when I weighed myself just after Xmas I was a shocking 21st 5lb. After 2 months of hard work I'm down to 19st 6lb and am looking to shed another 2st by fight night.

This is quite some journey I'm going on...
