Hello! My name is Laura, the office administrator for the Link Visitng Scheme. I am so excited to embark on the challenge of the London Marathon 2024 in aid of Link.
The Link Visitng Scheme is dedicated to helping reduce loneliness amongst older people and bringing generations together in friendship and shared experiences in Wokingham and the surrounding areas.
Having joined the team at the Link Visiting Scheme back in October, I have witnessed first hand the transformative effects of the service they provide.
Your donation, however small, will be enormously appreciated as we know the winter is going to be a very lonely time for lots of older people.
I won my place through the vastly over subscribed ballot so there has been absolutely no cost to The Link for this challenge.
