Bradford to Roubaix (and back again!)

In April 2018, I am planning to cycle from Bradford (where I live) to Roubaix in northern France, with Bradford Cycle Club. On the week-long trip, we'll cycle more than 500miles across four countries, ride some famous cobbled paths that will make our teeth rattle, and hopefully, raise a hefty amount of money for charity :D The money will be split between three registered charities: - Bradford Bulls Foundation, which raises money for sports projects in local schools; - Bradford Soup Run, supporting homeless people in Bradford; - and, Student Minds, a national student mental health charity. While all are very valuable organisations, the latter is the most important to me: so many people around me have struggled - or are still are living with - mental health issues. And I have lived with depression and anxiety since I was a student myself: perhaps if more help had been available then, I'd have had an easier time these last twenty years! (In fact, forget the cycling, the biggest challenge for me is going to be keeping my social anxiety in check for the week.) I'm covering all the expenses for the trip myself but would like to raise a little bit extra for the charities: any money raised here here will go straight to them.
