It may surprise you to hear but tomorrow 9th May 2023 I am going to be 60!
As part of my celebrations I would love to raise £600 for Lunch Positive, a local HIV charity that I am proud to be a Trustee for. I have worked with people living with HIV for the best part of my 42 year nursing career and many of the people who access the support of Lunch Positive I have known for 23 years or more.
Lunch Positive is what it says on the tin and so much more - they provide a nutritious meal, befriending, a food bank, a place to keep warm and a sense of connection for people who often experience high levels of social isolation and mental ill-health.
Lunch Positive is predominantly run by volunteers and they rely on donations to keep these and so many more services going.
£1.50 buys one meal £600 would buy 400 meals.
So if you could maybe buy 1 meal as a nod to me on my birthday I'd be incredibly grateful 💕
