After entering the ballot for the 8th year and not surprisingly not being successful I was extremely lucky to get a club place for Fen Edge Runners who keep me out of mischief on Monday and Thursday evenings.
I am running my first, and last, marathon and can't wait (for the finish line) and would like to raise funds for a local charity who make a difference to the lives of many.
Rowan is a Cambridge based arts centre and charity where people with learning disabilities work alongside artists in their choice of woodwork, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, mixed media and the performing arts.
As well as their own creative projects, students work collaboratively with tutors on private commissions and exhibit their artwork across Cambridgeshire. Their work is stunning as anyone who has used Milton Country Park knows.
