To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

To offer young people aged between 6 and 14 adventure, citizenship, self esteem, confidence and to try activities not usually on offer as part of the school curriculum. Brandon is a small rural town with multi-cultural background. Three years ago the Scout group was re-launched after years of dormancy. The Leaders and Committee have worked hard to raise funds to replace camping equipment and to refurbish the existing building, while at the same time offering extensive Scouting to young people.

The young people grow up and learn to respect others, moving on into the world with self confidence and an air of maturity.
