AP Cymru is a registered Charity based in South Wales. Our team support hundreds of neurodiverse children, young people and their families. We provide a tailor-made Face2Face service and offer parent support at hospital appointments and school meetings etc. Our families can access all of our services, alongside a wide variety of workshops, training courses, clinics, guest speakers, play sessions, holiday activity programmes, lending services and more. All of our services are provided by parents for parents and the majority of our team are neurodivergent. We are also hugely proud of our CPD-accredited training programmes, which helps to support and educate organisations across Wales and beyond!

Why the community needs us
We aim to create an inclusive, safe and personal support network for each family as a complete unit. By providing this vital lifeline as close as we can to the beginning of the diagnostic process, we aim to reduce the negative impact and ripple effect that can happen within the family. When the parents feel supported and listened to, it has a positive impact on the whole family.

Our impact on the community
We currently support hundreds of families who are going through, or have just recently received, a diagnosis. Our aim is to support the family as a whole, to help them achieve positive outcomes for themselves. The families we support say they feel more confident both in the home, and during their many medical, therapy and school appointments after receiving outreach and attending the workshops we provide.
