What we do

New Leaf Learning is a registered charity driven by the desire to improve outcomes for primary school aged children in Northamptonshire.

We offer a nature-based, connection-focussed provision for children who are not currently engaging in learning in mainstream schools.

We guide parents/carers and school staff in how to create safe spaces so that children can thrive.

We pride ourselves on being a unique resource and offering the opportunity for users to engage in a variety of activities in a beautiful outdoor setting.

About our course

At New Leaf Learning, we believe every child deserves the chance to grow in confidence, build resilience, and reconnect with learning.

Our nature-based TRUST courses bring small groups of children together in the beautiful surroundings of Courteenhall Estate, helping them to develop self-belief, emotional regulation, and positive relationships through hands-on, outdoor learning.

Our programmes are partially funded through the generosity of our donors and partners, which means there is no cost to the child or their family. However, the actual cost to the charity of running a five-week course for six children, one day a week course is £3,500, (around £584 per child).

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the current subsidised cost per group is £995 per six children — a significant reduction that allows more schools and families to benefit.
