We want to deliver quality cricket to all who live in the St Just parish. All should have the same chance. We also want to work with and support other groups in the community and ensure that this becomes a thriving, sustainable town with people helping each other to overcome difficulties.

We work with our partners, especially the schools, and deliver safe cricket with the emphasis being on enjoyment. For seven years the club has managed the Chance to Shine project in the St Just area. This programme enables a club coach to go into the schools locally and coach cricket. We also give all an equal chance and encourage participation. We also deliver a winter programme, over 20 weeks, in which those youngsters with ability are given the chance to further develop their skills.

We have very active coaches who not only coach during the summer but also in the Sports Centre in the winter. This has enabled us for the the last fifteen years to field 4 teams in the Cornwall Cricket League on Saturdays. When you consider that the population of the parish is just over 4,500 and that over 90% of the players are local people who attended Cape Cornwall Comprehensive School. The first eleven is in the Premier League and fighting for top spot.
