
Aaina delivers accredited and non accredited VTCT Education and Training opportunities, Support Services which include Healthy Living and Mental Wellbeing, community development activities and employment and enterprise support, Aaina caters for women who want to progress in a gender and culturally sensitive environment, empowering service users with the skills to lead independent lives. We deliver a programme of activities that cater for the diverse needs of women from all backgrounds.
Why the community needs usAaina delivers up skilling initiatives that enable women and their children to increase positive participation in their localities and contribute to local initiatives. Disengaged women are provided with opportunities to gain work based skills and contribute to the local economy and enterprise. Aaina also provides capacity building support to smaller not for profit groups that cater for women and children's to deliver activities at the Hub so that the wider community is engaged.
Our impact on the communityAaina engages over 3000 service users annually in various initiatives and projects that enhance wellbeing, improve skills and knowledge that can lead to improved life choices. Women and children and engaged with the aim to provide progressive pathways out of poverty through educational and training opportunities, volunteering and apprenticeships, healthy living initiatives, and support services linked to welfare and housing.
