Why the community needs usWe are committed to improving the quality of life of local people, their carers and families, so that they can enjoy a better life in later years. Celebrating 25 years of service delivery in 2012, the organisation delivers advice and information services, befriending services, day services and lunch clubs, as well as specialist projects to benefit people across Birmingham. Age Concern Birmingham aims to be the acknowledged leader in promoting, empowering, delivering and providing services.
Our impact on the communityAge Concern Birmingham was commissioned to deliver the Community Outreach programme for the Digital Switchover programme across the West Midlands, covering a population of over 3 million individuals. Through our dedicated services, we engage with over 30,000 individuals each year, providing support, advice and service delivery to those in need.
