We provide an holistic service for families before, during and after diagnosis of ADHD and other disabilities. We signpost to other services, provide respite through a youth club and support group session, and we organise family days out and holidays at subsidised rates during the holidays. We promote positive parenting in order to reduce the stress on the whole family including siblings.
Why the community needs usSt Helens ADHD MOJO's provides an holistic service to over 100 families in St Helens. We are the only service in St Helens providing support before, during and after diagnosis. This means that families do not have to wait to receive help and advice, and can access support and information when they need it most.
Our impact on the communitySt Helens ADHD MOJO's is a voluntary group run by and for parents of children with ADHD or other disabilities who know how valuable the support is we provide. We understand the needs of the parents who come to us for help and many of the parents we support become volunteers for us. We work with over 100 families to ensure children are able to access days out and holidays, parents have respite and the stress in the family is reduced.
