Age UK Warwickshire is committed to providing quality services which meet the needs of older people within Warwickshire. Through effective partnership working with other local and national organisations Age UK Warwickshire has been able to provide and develop a range of services to assist older people to remain independent as possible with as much or as little support as required.

Everyone knows that Age UK is the charity for older people, but what do we actually do... Our core service is Information and Advice - a gateway service that covers anything from advice on benefit claims, housing, care and support in the home. We run Day Care services, exercise classes, a handyperson and gardening service and many other services that promote Healthy, Happy Living at Home Later in Life. There is so much more to Age UK than people expect.

Each year our Information and Advice team handle over 16,500 enquires. And through our benefits programme, we have secured an additional £2million in benefit claims in Warwickshire since the service began. Our services improve health and wellbeing through our social activites and befriending service which help reduce cases of social isolation, a major factor in the deline in mental health. Looking ahead, we aim to work with more health professionals to improve older peoples services.
