Our aim is to help blind and partially sighted people from Andover and the surrounding villages to have the opportunity to access appropriate support and resources to enable them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

There are over 400 visually impaired people in this local community. Without the support of this local charity, people with sight loss would not be able to access services and help they need, as travelling to Winchester and Basingstoke would be impossible. This charity supports evey need of our members, and the support given by the staff, Trustees and volunteers is invaluable.

Andover VIPs provides local visually impaired people with much needed emotional and practical support on their doorstep.The charity also offers a direct link with Adult Services, and campaigns tirelessly for better services for local people with sight loss. It helps visually impaired people to have a fulfilling and independent life after sight loss, whatever their age.
