Our Mission
Apex in the Community CIC empowers Hertfordshire by creating sports, health, and wellbeing opportunities. Through events, employment, and accessible programming, we aim to support individuals, local clubs, and schools, building an active, connected community.

Key Focus Areas

1. Sports & Event Pathways
   We provide volunteering and employment opportunities in sports and events, with over 100 volunteers gaining hands-on experience each year through Apex’s multi-sport sessions and camps.

2. Supporting Club Accreditation
   We partner with local clubs to help them achieve Charter Standard Status, creating safe, high-quality environments for sports and strengthening club membership.

3. Pathways from Schools to Clubs
   At the Active Dacorum Hub, we develop pathways from local schools to community clubs like Apex Football, Netball, and Tennis, ensuring consistent sports involvement and skill development for young people.

4. Fundraising & Events
   Apex organizes events like inflatable fun days to raise funds for community projects and helps local clubs apply for grants to sustain their programs.

Our Impact

• Live Longer Better supports adults 45+ with fitness and social activities, helping over 150 residents a week stay active and connected since 2023.

• Diabetes Prevention reached 100+ at-risk community members, offering education on healthier lifestyles.

• High Five Holiday Camps welcome over 200 children, promoting fitness and fun.

• HAPpy Camps provide free holiday activities and meals to over 200 children annually.
