About the appeal

Every year, whilst I'm the Chair of Kimberley Institute Cricket Club, I will undertake a Chair's Challenge to raise money for Club's Development Fund.

This year, on the 11th May, with my wife Kate, I will walk between the 4 grounds where our 4 senior men's teams will be playing.

We will leave the Kimberley Cricket Ground at 12.30 pm when the first ball has been bowled in our 2nd team game against Flintham. We will walk to Awsworth where our 4th team are playing, then on to Wollaton to see our 1st team. From Wollaton we will walk to Basil Russell Playing Field in Nuthall where our 3rd team will be playing Wollaton 3rds. Finally we will head back to Kimberley, hopefully, in time to see our second team finish their match.

The money raised will contribute to the club’s Development Fund. This will be used to develop the club's facilities so that more people will be able to participate in cricket and join the Kimberley Cricketing community..
