Team Fundraisers

Take a look at our volunteering video and the smiles on everyone's faces. We cant wait to see those smiles again. 10 clubs are closed due to enforced social distancing, we will experience a reduction in weekly subs from each club, All fundraising efforts have ceased due to cancelation including our auction which usually raises in the region of £6000 and our family fun day which raises around £1000. These funds would normally be split between all 10 clubs for general running costs.

How the funding will be spent
Money raised during this time will be spent on covering essential costs to keep our operations running, it will reduce the amount of money spent from our reserves and ensure that once this challenging time is over we can pick up where we left off and continue to provide fun and exciting social opportunities for our members. This will be needed more than ever.

How this will benefit the community
Club leaders are sharing, videos, workshops, social media messages, music activities, text messages and phone calls to help remain connected with some of our most isolated members and their families. This more creative way of keeping in touch will remind them that they are still very much part of a community. This uncertain time will also put a great amount of strain on the families, parents and carers of our members, we want to be able to help with those challenges.
