About the appeal

Dear friends
Please can you help us dream into being a lovely outdoor space where we may offer training, wellbeing workshops and small events onsite

a brief introduction….
As you may already know, Arts4wellbeing is based in West Wales, we design and deliver projects that support hope, happiness and wellbeing through a fusion of personal development, creativity, nature connection and playfulness.
Arts4wellbeing has worked across the three counties supporting all ages on many creative adventures, events and training workshops since 2011, most recently working with children and families post Covid through the nature connection sessions Little Acorns and Little Starfish, the Story Making events encouraging imaginative play and literacy for children and young people across rural communities of Ceredigion, supporting young people’s mental health and wellbeing in partnership with the schools and youth service through creative adventure, all ages through Compassionate Communities and currently working welcoming all ages and abilities weekly at the Caffi Creadigol groups in Cardigan and Llandysul

Our base is at Felin Soar and over the years we’ve renovated this peaceful old mill, it’s surrounded by oaks and cottage garden flowers, friendly ducks, chickens pottering about and our white doves.

Many of you will have already attended celebrations, meetings and workshops, stayed on retreat over the years.

We have been opening our doors at Soar for twenty years this summer, to welcome people and support hope, happiness and wellbeing, offering creativity around the kitchen table, meetings in the granary lounge and nature based workshops in the meadow garden.
Many of you have enjoyed the healing space at Soar.
We are asking for your help now, as we would love to have some sheltered outdoor space to enable us to offer more workshops here in the future.
Create a nurturing space for individuals, families, groups to meet and enjoy creativity and nature connection to inspire and restore feelings of calm, relaxation and wellbeing.
We have the opportunity to purchase a very large tipi that we can site at Soar, a sheltered space where we will be able to offer outdoor creativity workshops.

We wondered if you might like to help us to make this a reality, dream this beautiful space into being?
If you’re interested to help us, anything that you’re able to offer to help will be hugely appreciated.

Everyone who donates will have their names, or the name of a loved one displayed in and around the space, and be invited to a welcoming launch event at Soar to celebrate with us
