Amanda's inspiration & belief that anyone could, should push through their boundaries to a more exciting and fulfilled life led to the establishment of Sports Driving Unlimited. For 8 years she led a team of coaches who trained disabled people to develop carriage driving skills with enormous life changing success. It was her enthusiasm and organisational skills that enabled a group of disabled carriage drivers to complete a 13 day sponsored drive from Boreland to Bourneville raising £25,000
How the funding will be spentThis appeal is in memory of all Amanda's professional achievements in her too short life (multiple national champion, coach of world & national driving champions and mentor to many). Although she is now no longer with us, one of her dearest wishes was for her work to continue in order to empower disabled people and those facing life's challenges. All funds raised in this appeal will be used for exactly that. The photo is of Amanda with Josh driving Strawbs at a local 2 day event.
