About the appeal

This is the fundraising page for the Community Action Group Nottingham's charity partner, Inspire & Achieve.

Inspire & Achieve (IAF) is a charity working with unemployed and disadvantaged young people, aged 16-25, in Nottingham city and Nottinghamshire. IAF helps approximately 500 young people a year, getting over 60% into education or employment. IAF achieves this by providing personalised support including;• Support with personal barriers such as mental health;• Mentoring and coaching into education and employment;• Outreach programmes like football, boxing and a social club; • Volunteering and work experience placements;• Qualifications and training such as the Prince's Trust Team Programme.
Many of the young people IAF work with have been victims of abuse, neglect, poverty, and have poor mental health. IAF aims to help young people manage and overcome their physical, emotional, environmental, psychological, opportunity based, and aspirational barriers and progress into employment, education, and, most importantly, to fulfil their potential as an individual. IAF believe everyone deserves a second chance. With the right support and care obstacles can be overcome, and young people who have lost hope can find a way to flourish.
