DONATE YOUR REBATE TO BRUE LARDER. TOGETHER LET’S ENSURE THAT NO BRUTON FAMILY GOES HUNGRY THIS WINTER.

The Brue Larder is facing some real challenges as we head into winter. Our local food bank currently supports 62 people in 21 households in Bruton. This vital resource is supporting 94% more people than this time last year.

Earlier this year, the government launched the Energy Bills Support Scheme, which sees a £400 energy discount given to every household. For some, this might be a nice bonus. But for others this will be a much needed helping hand as we experience the coldest season of the year. It could even be the difference between food or fuel.

We understand things are tough, but if you feel you can afford it, we’d like you to consider donating part (or all) of your energy rebate to helping the people in need who use Brue Larder. £400 could help us feed one of the town’s hungry families for up to two months.

Good company receives and will pay out the funds. The company will not apply any management or other charges to donations. In the unlikely event of the funds not being needed, good company will allocate them to other charitable causes in Bruton (such as Bruton Supports Ukraine).
