About the appeal

We are a registered charity, supporting children, young people and adults who are vulnerable and at-risk in the North West. We have been caring for, educating, protecting and inspiring those in need for 140 years.

We are a multifaceted organisation - we run several children’s care homes; a secure unit of young people with very complex needs; a school for pupils with emotional behaviour and mental health needs; a number of residences for people living with dementia and acquired brain injuries; an adoption service; a multitude of community based support services and; several important outreach initiatives aimed at tackling all forms of poverty.

By donating to Nugent today, you allow us to continue being a voice for the voiceless and to continue supporting children, adults and their families facing hardship and adversity across Merseyside. Donations from our supporters allow us to help our beneficiaries feel safe, secure and nurtured, whilst creating new forever families and work towards building strong and resilient communities. We help survivors of abuse, trauma and other adversity to recover and we work tirelessly to protect the rights of those in need.
