Nugent offers over 30 different projects supporting vulnerable children and adults.

Nugent respond to people in need and offer a range of services including: Specialist care for children and young people in care homes and special schools. Residential care and nursing homes for older people including people with dementia. Care homes for people with physical and learning disabilities and for people with mental health problems. Our community teams support people with learning disabilities, people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and people who are homeless.

Why the community needs us

We offer special education to over 115 children, residential care to 75 children, 80 older people & 90 individuals with mental and physical difficulties; adoption services; community based support for over 300 individuals with learning disabilities; support for homeless individuals, older people; Deaf people & people who are hard of hearing and support over 170 volunteers and their community groups.

Our impact on the community

Each year we help over 6000 vulnerable children and adults. We help children find forever families through our adoption work. We find accommodation and support people out of homelessness. We provide special education over 115 children.We enable older people to live their lives to the full. We provide interpreters for Deaf people and educate local communities about Deaf and hard of hearing issues. We enable people with learning disabilities to become activley involved in their communities.
