Calderdale is very short of good quality sports venues.It is our aim to restore a former rugby ground at Blackwall Lane, Warley into three football pitches with club house and parking.It is our aim to provide pitches that are superior in quality to those that most clubs have at the moment.A huge amount of work has been done to set the ball rolling by a small group of volunteers. Changing rooms are high on our agenda and it is hoped they will soon be in place with help of donations

The project would be available for Junior Sports, Open Age Sports and schools that may wish to use it. These would be available for hire all year round. not just for football but any sport. Parking would be on site thus not causing any traffic problems for the local people

It is expected that upto 8400 people will use the site for league, inter league, semi/final games as well as ad hoc training sessions and friendlies, and the use of the site for sports days, fetes, once completed
