We act as an advocate for shared neighbourhoods, develop models of good practice, build BCDA as a successful independent resource centre and meeting space and offer programmes which respond to community need and create a positive place for all to live.

We are a resource centre for the local community. Our services include Welfare Advice Centre, Social Health and Well Being projects, Targeting Older Women's Needs Project, Men's Shed, Sure Start Crèche, Parent & Toddler groups, After Schools Clubs, Annual summer scheme, room/ meeting space and volunteer development.

In 2014/2015 BCDA supported and enhanced the capacity of 284 usergroups and projects. The meeting space in the Community House was utilised by local groups and projects for 68 hours per week.
