To provide and maintain recreation within Barnard Castle and surrounding areas, for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area, and to maintain the tradition of the Meet.We also provide power, marquee, sound and catering solutions for local business and community ventures.

The Meet is a unique carnival serving not only the local community of Barnard Castle but the surrounding area too. We team up with a whole host of local businesses and other groups to truly bring the community together. If its not our annual procession, you can be sure to find a wide section of people involved in our other activities, be it hosting a two day music festival or providing generator and marquees to other groups. We are a dedicated group of volunteers seeking a better community.

What is a true outcome? A real result? We like to think of ourselves as a piece of the glue that binds a community and seamlessly intertwined itself in the life of the town. We bring the young and old together and forge memories in the minds of young people which remains for a lifetime. In addition to all this, our town and business's thrive as the town fills with thousands of tourists coming to see our fantastic programme of events.
