Bletchley Youth Centre is dedicated to supporting children and young people to have a happy, healthy, safe and successful start to life through informal education and leisure activities. The projects that we deliver help them to develop their physical, mental and social skills in order to support their wellbeing both as individuals and members of the wider community.
Why the community needs usThe aim of Bletchley Youth Centre is to provide a safe place where children and young people can meet friends, have fun and try something new through a variety of different youth work projects. The centre also offers a wide range of activities for the whole community including play groups, Zumba and dance classes, plus annual events such as craft fairs and fun days. Members of the community are also able to hire the space at a low cost for their own personal and family events.
Our impact on the communityThe youth work projects at Bletchley Youth Centre are delivered to encourage and support young people in learning new skills and achieving both personal and accredited outcomes. We run various youth club sessions for young people in the 13-19 age range and also a junior youth club for 10 to 13 year olds. We work with other local organisations, services and schools to ensure that we best meet the identified needs of all youth club members.
