At Brooksbottom we place a heavy focus on coaching and improvement at all levels, and actively encourage junior involvement in the senior set up. The club prides itself on being a community club where everyone is welcome regardless of cricketing ability. On the 27th of June 2012 members will be trying to complete the 3 Peaks Challange to raise funds for Groundworks to the Field. Brooksbottom CC is also a Clubmark and LCB Focus Club providing a safe and friendly environment for young people

A Club run and maintained by volunteers for the local community and local schools to use for leisure activities and for the coaching and playing of cricket.

In 2012 we are spending £20,000 on improvements to the playing surface of the field the outcome of this will provide a much flatter playing surface not just for cricket but also for the local primary school who also use the field for school activities.
