**IF YOU ARE KIND ENOUGH TO DONATE MORE THAN £10, PLEASE DO IT IN SEPARATE MULTIPLE DONATIONS OF £10** The Trust supports community projects in St Gennys Parish. This campaign is about 2 projects. 1 to get our local footpaths cut and made great for all to walk through. 2 to set up a small fund to take care of the beach toilets that the community has taken over from Cornwall Council. Please add the comment "paths" or "toilets" to your gift so we know where to allocate it.
Why the community needs usBoth these projects are to make our beautiful village better for the wider community. Neither gets sufficient funding from the council to survive on their own, both need wider support from the local and visiting community.
Our impact on the communityLess than half of the 30 footpaths in the parish network are cut back through the official budget. We want to get all of them opened up and kept easy to pass. Much of this will be done by volunteer activity, but we need to employ a ground keeper sometimes to cut the worst paths back. The other project is the beach toilet. The community took it over from the council with a grant to maintain it, but it is nowhere near enough. We want to make it clean and beautiful so visitors feel inclined to
