Trinity Theatre (CAODS) has been at the heart of entertainment in Cowes for nearly 100 years. CAODS is a 100% voluntary organisation which produces shows for the local and island community. Membership is open to anyone interested in theatre and interested in actively maintaining this facility. The venue is used by many other organisations for their own events which enriches the island community. Maintaining the venue is an ongoing task and current projects are improved insulation & heating.
Why the community needs usTrinity Theatre(CAODS) provides a group and facility for anyone who is interested in theatre. Having our own building means people can be actively involved in all aspects of a production. The group also acts as a social centre with a wide variety of events. The building also serves as a facility that can be used by other organisations for their own events including meetings, shows, exhibitions, classes at reasonable cost. This makes a real contribution to richness of the local community.
Our impact on the communityTrinity Theatre(CAODS)puts on many productions each year for the benefits of actors and audiences from the community. The theatre is also used by many other organisations as a venue each year. The group also help other charities with over £2200 being donated over the past two years.
