The Captain Tom 100 Challenge - 100 minutes of Drumming!
On 6 April 2020, Captain Tom Moore raised an astounding £38.9 million for the NHS Covid-19 appeal by walking 100 laps around his garden. To honour him and his incredible achievements throughout his lifetime, the Captain Tom 100 is taking place on the weekend of 30th April 2021 (which marks what would have been his 101st birthday).
The Monday Night Club have accepted the challenge and will drum continuously for 100 minutes, aided by their good friends Steve and Pat from Drumlove. The MNC drummers are excited to take part in this challenge in honour of a hero, Captain Tom, and hope to raise funds to keep the MNC going - and have more evenings of fun together.
