Carers Careline was established in 1988. Our aim is to promote the health, mental and emotional wellbeing of adult carers, especially the elderly, in the local community through the identification of hidden carers, early intervention, preventative action and pastoral care. We do this through a range of group activities in Redditch, including a monthly bereavement group information and signposting, regular trips and outings, pro-active telephone support, a drop in facility, and counselling.

Why the community needs us

Our impact on the community

We support nearly 400 unpaid carers in the Redditch area, aiming to ensure they feel more confident, are less stressed and more able to cope in their caring role; feel less socially isolated and more integrated within the community; and therefore have a more optimistic outlook. Today, after many years of service to carers in the local community, Carers Careline is justifiably proud of its record and subject to funding being available, hopes to continue in the same vein for many years to come.
