10th Penarth Brownies

10th Penarth Brownies aims to enable girls to have fun, try new things and build their confidence.

Girlguiding is the charity for girls and young women. We set up our unit in 2015 as there was a long waiting list to become a Brownie in Penarth. We started with 5 girls and now have 20! Every week we meet and play games, make things, get to know one another and go on adventures. Next year, we would like to take our girls on an adventure weekend. We hope this will encourage them to be confident in themselves, try something new and feel excited about what's ahead.

Why the community needs us

We encourage our girls to be involved in their local community, whether taking part in activities, fundraising or helping other people.
