We buy the essential equipment that throat cancer sufferers need to try and return to a life of speech , hence normality. Our hospitals are now so short of funds that we also provide medical equipment for ENT departments dealing with such cancers. We DO NOT waste money on research as we know that E/D (Early Diagnosis) is the key to success with throat/oral cancers so this is something we are working on with the help of major organisations in the medical world. One of our biggest problems is creating the awareness factor of such cancers and that is exactly where you people out there can help us - by telling others about our charity and what we do. Imagine that you woke up one fine day.....voiceless! How would you cope with that?

When we provide a laryngectomee with an Electro-Larynx we immediately put that voiceless person back into the society that he/she once knew. Communication is something we all take for granted but having no vocal communication is not and many larys simply hide away because they cannot communicate. Would YOU want to hide away for the rest of YOUR life?

We have already given lary's a voice back so that they can communicate and we will continue to do so. But we have also provided hospitals with some major equipment needed to give larys the best possible chances of diagnosis, surviving the operations and post operative care.
