To bring the joys of Scouting to all ages through varied activities and outings with camping opportunities for all. Beavers and Cubs get to enjoy games and educational activities while the Scouts and Explorers have wide variety of outdoor pursuits.

We care one of the largest Scout Groups in the local area with approximately 230 youngsters on roll.We believe all local youngsters should have the opportunity to benefit from Scouting. It is a constant challenge to be able to recruit adult helpers, and provide an enjoyable, educational and varied range of activities for the whole age range i.e. from 6 to 18.

All fund raising money will be used to reduce our debts on our minibus and new high secure fencing. We annually spend a large amount of money giving a better range of activities for all Sections as well as allowing us to put on a broad, varied and full programme. As a Group we put on over 500 child-hours of activities every week. This takes a lot of effort and kit which as you can imagine takes a heavy battering and which we constantly need to replace or add to.
